World’s First USB 3.0 storage solution demonstration at CES
Bharat | Jan 5 2009

After USB 2.0 having delivered the goods, it’s time now for USB 3.0 to take over the reign. There hasn’t been a product demonstration of the superspeed USB 3.0 yet, therefore backing well on the opportunity, Symwave in collaboration with Seagate has come up with a USB 3.0 storage solution.

Symwave will put the storage solution on demonstration at CES 2009, wherein using USB 3.0 with specification revision 1.0 data will be streamed at speeds that haven’t been possible before, possibly at 10 times the speed we currently have.

Over the years we have seen the latest in consumer electronics, mobile devices, storage and PCs showcased at CES, and this time the recently announced, world’s first USB 3.0 physical layer device by Symwave, will make show of the first USB 3.0 solution in a real world application of data backup, storage and media streaming, that should be one of the highlights of the show. The demonstration can be seen live in a private suite at the Las Vegas Hilton.
