Intel's new technology may help build wireless chargers
Jaiyant Cavale | Aug 22 2008

At IDF on August 21, Intel demonstrated wireless power technology, which could help us achieve wireless battery chargers and the like in the near future. Two metal arrays that connect to a power amplifier resonate and this resonation helps establish a link of energy. Now one can see transmission of power between one metal ring and the other. Though it has not been developed yet, Intel seems to be progressing very fast. However, we won’t get to see this on any of the gadgets at the moment. If only we saw it happening in the near future, many of our gadgets would change beyond perception.
