US Army plans lethal missiles to carry surveillance drones
Bharat | Nov 18 2009

In order to extend the surveillance mechanism beyond what’s been possible with satellites and drones, the US Army is gearing up to build missiles which will carry surveillance drones in them. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) platforms delivered from missiles ones made will trigger a new rage in unmanned, long-range, ultra-high-speed surveillance.

With the drone-filled missiles, which can also be used as a potential aerial weapon, the Army wishes to launch spying robots that can fly and provide faster surveillance reports to ground recorders, thus instigating swiftness in attack and defense as required. With the increase in these surveillance drones, the authorities will also have to increase and establish an equipped base to transform the data received in to usable information in real time.
