Vikas Shekhawat | Dec 21 2005

After capturing 8 of the 10 bestselling smartphone handhelds in the US, Palm is ready to spread it’s tentacles in the New Year. It has officially announced that 3 New Treo Smartphones will be launched in 2006. Treo 700w will be the first to start the race early next year.

The Treo 700w smartphone will have 64 MB of storage that won’t be erased even if the device’s battery runs down completely. It’s CDMA-base supports EV-DO enabling a boosting download speed of 400-700 kbps. The pocket PC will be embedded with Bluetooth v1.2 wireless technology, WiFi SD card (not built-in WiFi) and a 240-by-240-pixel display.

Price: Keep guessing, won’t be cheap with these features.
