The way complicated button controllers for video games are giving way to gestural and other non tangible methods; there are no surprises to see the developers doing their bit to snare people into using feet instead of the hands for gaming. We saw that in Tetris on arduino a DIY project, and here Yves Behar’s Fuseproject studio has done something similar in the Tony Hawk RIDE game controller/ skateboard for Wii. The RIDE board controller is a skateboard-shaped wireless video game controller that features motion sensing technology, and sensors to allow players to stand on the skateboard and use it to interact with the game environment.
