Jaiyant Cavale | Aug 30 2008

Teraokaseiko Co. Ltd has launched the double sided touch panel display which may help in reading maps, playing games, and in increased interactivity among the user and the input/output device. The touch panel can be used by touching either sides of the display. The display has been manufactured using a resistive touch panel and attaching it against either sides of a transparent inorganic EL panel. When the backside of the screen is used, viewers wouldn’t be obstructed and can see the screen or display without any hindrance. The display recognizes touching, pinching and movements such as tapping and sliding, all of which may have different functions. It has 256 x 120 pixels and an orange monochrome display.
