Super Talent intros world’s most advanced DDR3 memory
Asmita | Apr 12 2008

A leading manufacturer of memory and flash storage solutions, Super Talent Technology has announced Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) support for the firm’s new Project X CCR3 memory. Developed by the Intel corporation, the new DDR3-2000 2GB (2x 1GB) Project X kit is built with the fastest and the most carefully screened DRAM chips. Hand tested as a matched pair on a dual channel Asus Striker II Extreme motherboard, the new XMP specification utilizes a reserved sector of the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) on memory modules to store factory configured profiles of memory timing settings, which makes it easier to overclock memory and squeeze incremental performance from the PC.
