Student readies computer program for card counting
Bharat | Oct 12 2009

Being first surprised by the potential of the students from Dundee University, with Scott Hubbs’ ATTIGO TT touchscreen turntable, I am now into another shocker with Kris Zutis another University of Dundee graduate claiming to have developed a Blackjack fairer, a computer program for card counting and figuring dealer errors.

I am not a big gambler, so I’m not really sure what that means, but you gamblers would definitely now it alright. But for what I learn, Kris’ system with a camera, detects the card counters by tracking the game as it progresses, all the while monitoring the cards as the player would, keeping track of the player’s betting pattern and alerting the casino staff in case of a need.
