We just had news of a new VoodooHP PC that is on its way to CES 2009. The charm that Voodoo has cast over us was too vivid to do away with when the claims of HP parting ways with Voodoo floated over the net. Now, all Voodoo fanatics have yet another reason to rejoice – with the leaked pictures of the all-new HP Firebird 803 tower with VoodooDNA.
The HP Firebird 803 comes with a more realistic makeover than most of those conceptual makes which never see light of the day.
The HP Firebird 803 with its clean design stuffs disc drives and other components on the sides, giving it a compact shape and saving upon the undesired space. If the leaked specs of the HP Firebird 803 are considered, then this ultimate gaming tower would be powered by a Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz processor with a NVIDIA nForce 760i SLI chipset.
The rig, along with the basic features of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 6 USB ports, will also boast of a Blu-ray disk drive, 4GB RAM, dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800D graphics cards, two 320GB SATA hard drives and a 5-in-1 multi-card reader. There isn’t a word on the pricing and the availability yet, however, the HP Firebird 803 will a support wireless keyboard and mouse, but the system will be externally powered.
