Sirius presents Web Streaming of Programs at no cost
Naresh Chauhan | Oct 17 2006

To maintain or increase its subscriber growth and to generate adequate returns to bring back key investments in on-air talent, Sirius Satellite Radio is all set for Sirius Internet Radio, a Web-only version of its subscription satellite service. Sirius will gear up by presenting two days of free Howard Stern programming by the end of the week. For future, you will have to pay US$12.95 per month.

Featuring CD-quality with in excess of 75 channels of programming, Internet-only version can be received through any PC free of any special satellite receiver.

On the other hand XM offers its own Web-only offering for $7.95 per month, which will enable wireless users to pick up streams of its channels on cell phones.
