Silverbrook Research claims to have developed World's fastest 'memjet' printer
Anupam | Mar 19 2007

SilverBrook Research is an Australian company that has never released a single product but has over 1,400 patents to its name.

The company has now planned to release the world’s fastest printer that can print 60 colored A4 pages in a minute. And while printing B/W stuff the printer manages double the speed.

The company revealed that the technology in use is called ‘Memjet’ and is an inkjet technology that has been developed after 10 years of research.

The printer uses a print head that spans the width of an A4 page.

The printer will cost around $200. The company has also stated that the average cost of printing will be less than $0.06 for a color page with 20 percent coverage.
