If you had always wanted to leave those proverbial footprints behind, you just can. Sensacell Corporation has made that possible with it’s latest contribution of a floor system where the floor detects and responds to your footsteps. You can leave behind luminous footprints and the system consists of 1000 Sensacell HSI64-36-W interactive modules, and each module would consist of capacitative sensors and an LED lighting system. The company deals with interactive architectural technology and the new flooring system was displayed at the 2008 World Expo. This may have great applications in building hotels, discotheques, clubs, stage etc where people would like to make things a little brighter. Video after the jump.
