The latest entry from Sennheiser, the HD 800, is a pair of headphones that fits well in the latter slot. Made public at CES, Sennheiser’s stunning HD 800 headphones stand out, owing to the amount of innovation that’s gone into the making.

Featuring a new technology in the driver system which helps reduce the low-end distortion that all headphones suffer with, the HD 800s are doughnut shaped and have Teflon-insulated, luxurious fabric-coated earpads. Coming home for about $1399.95, we ain’t taking the risk of picking these before we’ve tested them, but there isn’t a way that we can refrain from it otherwise too.
