In the world where different forms of alternative energy are soon going to become the best selling ideas, this technique from the scientists in Russia would definitely make the cut, if and when something of the sort is considered. Scientists at the Institute for Electrification of Agriculture have devised a way to convert energy from static electricity into usable electricity. For this the Russian-based scientists have used a Chizhevsky chandelier, which produces static electricity from air. This technique of generating electricity is patented under legal regulations of the Russian Federation, and has been tested to achieve an output of about 40 volts, which the scientist believe can be enhanced.
