Samsung shows world’s first notebook compatible USB monitor
Bharat | Jun 20 2009

Often those 15- or 17-inch laptop screens aren’t good enough to satiate the computing and gaming instincts in us, and dual screen notebooks aren’t the norm yet. When the best in the business are busy stuffing the system with the fastest and best endurance processors, Samsung electronics in Korea has unveiled the world’s first USB monitor that hooks up with the notebooks. Dubbed the LD220, the monitor with a brightness of 300cd/m2 and 5ms response time, supports 30,000:1 contrast ratio and was made public at the World IT Show 2009. No real info on the price or when it is coming, but we surely have a monitor in contention for our needs.
