When LCD screens were in there infancy the main problem was their invisibility in day light.
But these displays matured to a stage where they could be easily seen in any conditions due to the unprecedented brightness. But this also came with a catch as high brightness levels tend to strain the battery of the devices in which they were implanted.
Samsung has developed a new 2.1-inch LCD display that features automatic brightness adjustment technology. This technology offers best readability under any conditions. When you are in the sun, the brightness increases and when in dark it decreases to prevent any unnecessary drain on the battery.
This also comes with a temperature compensation sensor that maintains a steady operational mode despite any exterior temperature change.
The display is aimed at high-end cell phones and PDAs. Samsung hopes that the production of this new LCD panel will begin in the second half of this year.
