Projector ring it is called and Luke Jerram has made it in collaboration with jeweler Tamrakar. It is a wedding ring, but with a huge difference, it projects pictures. It features a built-in lens and a transparent slide, featuring pictures of the designer and his bride-to-be. When a candle is put to it, I mean when light is shone through it, it will transform into a projector, displaying all the pictures. The pictures displayed can be changed too, as the built-in slides can be swapped with your changing choices, in terms of pictures of course. However, the twist here is that you cannot buy it, as the designer says to people requesting for rings, “Congratulations on your engagement! I’m afraid this ring was a one off, made for my wife. I’m afraid you’ll have to make your own unique ring for your own unique partner!”
