I wish I could go back in time a few years, for I’m quite envious of the luck the children are enjoying these days with the trendiest toys, in the name of information and education. Now, this isn’t fair but these robotic kits from Vex Robotic Design System are just the very thing to rekindle the wish to be children again. The RCR Mini platform that comes as a pleasant surprise from Vex is not only cheaper and smaller but allows you to try your scientific and creative skills to create your own unique robot. The RadioShack robot platform from Vex had created a lot of rage among both children and adults alike. RadioShack along with For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) had started a mission to arm our very promising youth with a programmable robotic army.
The new Mini platform is Wi-Fi enabled and allows you to control all your robots seamlessly. It also enables the robots to communicate with each other, making it more flexible and versatile. Priced little less than $100, these new platform and accessories let you go for a hunt down.
Now, even if the wish to become children again is not possible for the time being, nobody can stop you to get yourself one of these kits and try your skills at creating androids.
