RAM with radiation hazard logo
Harshpaul | Feb 5 2009

The new DDR3 RAM from Mushkin comes cloaked in an aluminum jacket painted with the radiation symbol. That symbol doesn’t make the memory look scary, it makes the makers look weird. The specs, though, are good enough. The kit comes with 6GB of memory, clock rating at 1600MHz, 7-8-7-20 latency and low a 1.65V rating. They probably should have named it Uranium or Thorium, but they’ve used a much stranger name, 998679r.
