Quarq Cinquo:Innovation is the Buzzword

Health and fitness are watchwords of the current generation. The market for fitness related products is booming, and it is no surprise that the Australian International Design Award has recognized a product that would revolutionize the way cyclists train. The Quarq Cinquo CinQo/Qranium is a cyclist training device incorporated with multiple sensors that measure the key parameters of a rider’s performance. The device records and displays power generated by the rider, heart rate, GPS location, temperature, altitude, cadence, torque, acceleration, deceleration, and other related functions.

The Cinquo comprises two basic components - the Qranium and the CinQo. The Qranium is the display module, while the CinQo is the power sensor module. Located on the handlebar and custom crank respectively, the modules help a rider achieve optimum performance levels. Stylish, waterproof, lightweight, wireless and highly rugged, the product requires no complicated setup since it is factory configured. The Qranium display module is another attractive feature. With a backlit, daylight readable 2.8 inch graphic LCD display that is built with scratch resistant PMMA, the display module offers users one of the best user interfaces. Navigation keys are simple and easy to use, and data can be viewed in both portrait and landscape modes. Additionally, the device supports information screen customization through PC based software in case users seek an alternative to the preinstalled configurations. Built with UV Stable Geloy, the Qranium is a design coup.

Users can also transfer recorded data to a computer with the help of a standard mini USB cable. RoHS and WEEE compliant, the Cinquo is a unique combination of innovation and standards-adherent technology.
