pureSilicon has world's first 1TB 2.5-inch SSD for storage frenzy, of course
Bharat | Jan 12 2009

While other manufacturers were busy boosting the capacity of their SSDs, pureSilicon took the opportunity to introduce a 1TB 2.5-inch SSD. Having demonstrated the 1TB Nitro SSD, pureSilicon has become the first to hit that mark in storage, within thinnest of design with the drives promising speeds as fast as nitrogen. Four of these drives, presented in the Nitro series, deliver 4TB in the same space as standard 3.5-inch HDDs, all along guaranteeing low power demands. Such capacity drives may take a while before they are delivered onto your desks, but these may be provided in servers and high capacity requirement spaces whenever it is made available sometime during the year.
