Pulse jet-powered bicycle: For the dumbass daredevil in you
Asmita | May 19 2008

Care to invite the entire neighborhood’s ire with the deafening sound of a pulse jet engine roaring through the street at 5 am on a Monday? Then you might certainly be more than interested in the delightful creations of Robert Maddox, a 47-year old American who specializes in designing and building the largest pulsejet engines in the world. Although his puppies run on kerosene, they can thrust power anywhere between 14 to 1000 lbs. With stats like that you’d think the man would invest a little in building sleek, aerodynamic devils that can bedazzle any car-lover with their ferocity. But unfortunately, Mr. Maddox believes in holding onto his hard-earned money by the teeth and so we find the best of his creations being mounted atop bicycles. Yeah, you heard me, BICYCLES! Don’t believe me? See it for yourself then.
