A unification of sensors and motors (with propeller fan), Puff the robotic firefighter is made to blow out fire, unlike those fabled dragons from China though. Puff scans his head to find the flames, moving toward the fire the bot blows at it to put it off. In case of two failed sweeps the robot backs off from the fire switching to its panic mode. Formed on the Arduino-based tracked autonomous Robotic Vehicle, Puff is intelligent enough to locate and ward off cliff and obstacles courtesy of two light sensitive probes. Still in the early developmental stage, the custom made robot with a dragon like make sure deserves a mention in the upcoming Dragon Festival. Catch the video after the cut.
