There was a time when Titanic was the largest and most luxurious cruise ship. After it met it’s fateful end, many other cruise ships have been around, each surpassing the other. Now, the mega cruise ship which surpasses all of these ships will be launched next year. Called ‘Project Genesis’, Royal Caribbean’s luxury ship is the largest cruise ship the world has ever known and it cost a cool $1.24 billion. It measures 1,180 feet long and can carry 5,400 passengers. When ready, the ship would have a central park (just like the one in New York City), and luxury hotels, restaurants, public spaces, picnic spots and bars. The Central Park, which is analogous to a town center, would provide guests with balcony accommodations, stunning public venue both during the day and night. The ship also has six other ‘neighborhoods’. This engineering marvel combines luxury and chic to provide passengers and patrons the most remarkable cruising experience till date.
