Prism synth-guitar uses lasers for strings
Bharat | Jul 15 2009

What results from mishmash of a guitar, a synthesizer and lasers, no guessing wild – it’s here, yes the Prism. A laser synth-guitar, the Prism unlike anything ever made in the genre, includes aspects of a Theremin and a laser harp to make some really neat sounds. Featuring a voltage controlled oscillator in its heart, the Prism uses four laser beams as strings, which can be held to produce the melodious jhing- jhing-jhing… Without any programming involved, the Prism is designed to be attached into a regular guitar amp, with no computer required. Identically portable as a guitar, the laser synth-guitar is good to set any party jamming.
