Pretec's iDisk bulletproof USB flash drive
Vikas Shekhawat | Jun 13 2006

Pretec has introduced a new line of bulletproof USB drives, perhaps for smugglers who vie for complete security of their data, in case they go under fire. The new iDisk drives comes with storage capacity ranging from 32MB to 2G and a 20 Mbps of data transfer rate.

The iDisk are carved out of ‘double layers of sealed protective metal’ and hence can easily survive in water, fire and of course imbibe bullets without a scratch. Apparently, Tom Cruise needs to equip himself with one for his mission impossible.
