Power your iPod with onions and Gatorade
Bharat | Nov 25 2008

When would have Apple thought there iPod could someday be charged by onions and energy drinks? No way seems best way to power the iPod. Every time we try and grasp a breather without a nudge on the iPod charging ambition, there comes upon something that puts us wondering, how is this now? Something of the sort has been brought about by Owen Lewis, who appears to have found a very unique and interestingly efficient method to charge the iPod. Owen claims that making two holes in an onion, pouring energy drink in it and then plugging in the USB cable to it, you can juice up the iPod. This is probably the greatest method of charging an iPod that we have come across. Though, we haven’t tried this ourselves, so no recommendations for anyone reading this. However, if Phil Stubbles, a physics lecturer from St Vincent College in Gosport, Hampshire, is believed, “vegetables could power iPods because they contain ions which react with energy drinks to create a charge,” the procedure is going to be smelly and you never know how long it may work.

This is nice idea, and this really works :) I don’t have idea why onions and gatorade can turn to battery.
