Tighten your belts; soon, we’ll be living a three-dimensional world with computer programs automatically turning 2D Images into 3D, 3D PMPs, 3D theatres, and of course, 3D televisions gripping from all sides.

Striking the right cord, Philips showcased it’s 3D displays at the annual Society of Information Display 2006 and received the Gold Award for the ‘Display of the Year’ too for its latest 42-inch 3D Intelligent high-definition Display.

The Philips 3D-TV ensures immaculate entertainment experience owing to its WOWvx and slanted multi-view lenticular lens technology, delivering full brightness, full contrast, and true color representation to multiple viewers at the same time. However, the displays will hit consumer market later; it will capture the professional market soon.
