Nishant | Dec 28 2007

It seems like Panasonic will rule CES 2008. We already know about their new 150-inch TV and now it’s about world’s thinnest internal Blu-Ray Disc Driver. Panasonic will exhibit world’s thinnest internal Blu-ray Disc Drive at CES 2008 that begins from January 7, 2008 at Las Vegas Convention Center.

Panasonic has already started shipping samples of 9.5mm BD drives to PC manufacturers. New BD drive boasts of double speed reading and writing. It can also read and write dual layer BD-R (50 GB) and BD-RE discs. Compatibility with future organic pigment-type Blu-ray Disks make it future proof and good investment.
