Panasonic displays world's first portable Blu-ray player at CES
Naresh Chauhan | Jan 8 2009

Panasonic’s Blu-ray player is testimony to the fact that modern gadgets with the latest innovations in technology are becoming smaller and lighter day by day. Scheduled to hit the market in May 2009, the DMP-B15 by Panasonic will become the world’s first portable Blu-ray player, if some Chinese company doesn’t sneak in with a cloned player in the meantime. Featuring an 8.9-inch WSVGA LCD screen and HDMI port, the DMP-B15 comes integrated with Panasonic’s internet and Viera Cast technology, connecting it with other electronics for a unified home theater experience. The DMP-B15 is car-mountable and users may view self-created pictures and video via an SD Memory Card slot.
