Nyko has just announced that its third-party Wiimote Wand will be available in two different bundles come this June: “Wand Action Pak” and “Wand Core Pak.” The Wand Action Pak is equipped with a Pistol Grip attachment and The Wand Controller. Pistol Grip uses the Wand’s much touted feature Trans-Port, which is a digital connection mechanism as opposed to mechanical connection mechanism found on the WiiMote. Nyko says that helps in reducing the wear and tear of the WiiMote alternative. Also, the Pistol Grip’s A and B button functions can be swapped with each other using a switch on the bottom of the grip.
As the name suggests, The Wand Core Pak includes the Wand itself and a wired Kama, which is the only third-party Nunchuck alternative with rumble support. The Kama connects to the Wand using a 4-foot-long cord and it’s been said that Kama is bit more comfortable than Nintendo’s Nunchuck.
The Wand Action Pak and Wand Core Pak will hit shelves in June for $49.99 and the stand-alone Wand will be available for $34.99.
