Now speak through your ear with 'good ear boy'
Sandhiya | Dec 20 2007

A good news for people who are affected by mobile syndrome and struggling to get the words from the other end in noisy circuits - A Japanese company called NS-ELEX has created a new type of earpiece/microphone called the “e-Mimi-kun” (good ear boy). This microphone, effectively utilizes air vibrations in the ear to deliver your voice to the other end of the line. When connected with the phone, it reduces the external noise by six times and a noise cancellation chip in the earphone reduces the noise 10 times further. Its microphone can be tethered to the phone or used like a Bluetooth set. Sanyo will put it in market probably in April. NS-ELEX believes the product would be useful for people working in places such as factories, restaurants and amusement parks.
