Nokia displays 3D mobile phone enjoyed without special glasses
Bharat | Sep 4 2009

Nokia has been experimenting to deliver 3D phones for some time now, while we’ve seen a few 3D mobile phones here in our part of the world – there is still no real word as to when the well reckoned Finish manufacturer would actually have it out for us. For now let’s satiate ourselves with this recently revealed prototype device that flaunts a 3D stereo display.

Outfitting the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet with a special screen, made by a concealed third party manufacturer, the device is churned in to 3D display device, clearly differentiated by the naked eye – no special glasses required. This prototype display suggests Nokia’s potential to get 3D to our handhelds, perhaps the expenditure and content may be pulling it back for now.
