MobilePhobia Haunt Greeks
Zodingliani | Mar 28 2006

It was recently in the news that the Greeks are having increased cases of anxiety, sleep disorders, irritability and an inability to function properly. And the factor is nothing but a small innocent cell phone. This is connected to Vodafone, the country’s biggest mobile operator reports of mobile eavesdropping.

Greeks psychotherapists have reported a number of cases where people sought medical help for fear that their spouses or bosses might have tapped their phone.

This is a direct result of the eavesdropping devices found in Vodafone’s central computer system around 2004 for which Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis stand the bitter chance of losing his office.
