Mitsubishi’s new 149-inch OLED TV calls us back to save power
Bharat | Jan 30 2010

It’s been a while I’ve seen a TV this big. This big with an OLED display, well I don’t remember when I last saw one, or if I ever have, not too sure of that. That said, this Mitsubishi’s attempt to build a 149-inch OLED TV has certainly stretched the OLED display out of the small screens into a large display market, which perhaps is a growing norm lately. Characterized by better colors, thinner profiles, and less power consumption the prototype TV will be displayed at ISE-2010 in Amsterdam. For the features, the OLED TV supports 1088 x 640 pixels resolution, 1500cd/m2 light output. I know none of us even wants to speculate the price for an OLED display this gigantic in size.
