Microsoft unveils latest 'Home of the Future'
Anupam | Mar 26 2007

Microsoft ‘Home of the Future’ was established 12 years ago. The room houses working prototypes and technology concepts which the company hopes are only five to ten years from becoming available to the public.

Company’s newest creation is the one where mobile phones can control room lighting, temperature, music, television and all other parts of the house.

This new room features a projection system which works as digital wallpaper. The dining room also features a projection system that can turn ordinary tables into a fully functional touch-sensitive computer screen.

But unfortunately the home is only open to the company’s employees, customers and others to tour by appointment.
