To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, a British engineer named Iain Sharp built his own version of the Atari Classic Lunar Lander. A DIY contraption (built in a garage) that works as the real thing is good to affirm the conspiracy theory to the believers.

Build for a price of $800 in a year’s time, Iain’s Lunar Lander was made using a couple of old PCs, old inkjet printer motors, fishing line and small lunar lander models. For the controls on the Atari Classic Lunar Lander, a modified car steering wheel is used, while a button is used to fire the rockets and push the craft in the direction it’s pointing for an exact position on the moon.
