All gadgets have some sort of music facilities attached to them, the PPMs have a tough ask for survival, but the makers have sensed the urgency and are making the requisite amendments to their creations. Not many have heard of the Shenzhen Shenchuang Electronics, but we need to know them, as they have for us a PMP which uses Microsoft PlayFX technology to enhance the sound quality.
Christened the M39, the PMP features a 3.5-in WQVGA touchscreen with 320×240 resolutions and a built-in G-sensor. Compatible with a host of formats like MPEG, WMV, DAT, MP3, WMA, WAV the music player also supports VOB video formats and JPEG, BMP and GIF images. Powered by a 1,300mAH Li-polymer battery, the PMP includes DVB-T TV, FM transmitter, up to 16GB flash memory, and cost only $56.
