Limited-edition Vacuum Tube 2B Radio also plays MP3s
Bharat | May 25 2009

We’ve seen some real, stylish and functional vacuum tube radios over time, remunerating the excitement of yesteryears with the technical adventures of modern realms. This limited-edition Vacuum Tube 2B Radio from designer Jonas Damon made in aluminum and MDF, and housing three vacuum tubes to broadcast signals in big, warm and radiant sound, is another such inclusion into the sphere. The radio measuring 12.75″ x 8.75″ x 7-inches comes equipped with an internal AM/FM antenna and also plays MP3s, which can be connected to the radio through an AUX in jack on the reverse of the system. The tubes in the $350 radio are made of glass and can be seen at work through the open back.
