Leon’s Trikes, old machines gearing with unique fervor

Design within reach is a motto that backs every innovative idea which hits the main fray. Most make it there and also roll out into stocks, while many remain hidden in the pile of unnoticed debris, always calling to deaf ears. Leon’s Trikes from Belgium are such pieces of brilliance that have been in the hiding for more than one reason. Flying machines of dubious origins and shapes have been seen and appreciated over the internet, thus we didn’t think twice to put this up here for our devoted readers to appreciate.

The “red mono seater” pictured above is powered by a Hirth 2 cyl 2T engine that generates 28hp for power for 3 hours of air maneuverability.

The dual seat “Flyboy” has fuel capacity to stay in the air for 3 hours, for which it obviously needed a more powerful engine that comes here in the form of a Rotax 60hp watercooled 503 motor.

The white “Westerly” is probably the flagship here with power coming from a 2 cyl 4stroke “Flanders paramotor” that churns out 34hp, can stay in the air for 4 hours and also houses a rescue chute.
