LEGO in a shockingly real avatar!

LEGOS as such are pretty lame excuse for a toy. They are meant to keep kids busy while moms and dads can do whatever they want to do (getting the idea?). Yes they can be fun, but only for five minutes. Designer Jin Woo Han seeks to change all that and more with his new conception.

He’s tried to turn LEGOS into a bit of an engineering feat. For this he has tried to make LEGOS a tad more interactive by giving the toy a shock treatment. His vision is called ‘Electric LEGOS.’

The idea is simple; place the LEGOs on a main board that looks like a normal LEGO piece. The catch is that this main board is electrically charged notches. The other pieces have electric components too and when placed in relation to each other on the main board, the entire creation comes to life. In other words, a living diorama.

Jin uses the Simpsons as an example and shows how the pieces interact when their relative positions are changed. All in all electric LEGOs is a wonderful idea!
