LEGOman making giant LEGO chess set
Asmita | Jan 28 2008

LEGO can be so addictive. Once you start shaping you imagination with it you just can never stop. Nobody knows that better than the man (or lady?) who runs BrickPlayer.com- a site dedicated to various projects and artwork created with the famous building blocks. The guy (or girl) does not reveal his identity so we shall simple refer to him as the LEGOman. And let me tell you LEGOman loves his LEGO. Of all the intriguing sculptures and projects featured on the site, I was particularly impressed by the giant LEGO chess set. So far the set only comprises of two of the pieces- a pawn and a castle- both of which are around 13 inches tall. One can imagine the painstaking effort it must have taken to build these enormous semi-hollow pieces going by the sheer accuracy of detail.

The LEGOman plans to build the complete set along with a LEGO chess board, but also admits it will be glory enough if he got through with making one of each piece! We’ll be waiting for that one for sure LEGOman!
