JVC 32-7mm thin LCD is lightest in the world
Bharat | Jan 5 2009

Every electronics manufacturer is seeking a way to go thin, be it with the displays or frames. In the thick of things, a couple of days from CES we see JVC introducing a 32v-7mm thin LCD, which the maker’s claim is the lightest in the world, weighing only 5 kg.

Developed with the next-generation flat-panel liquid crystal display technology, the Victor, a 32-7mm thick, full HD LCD will be exhibited at CES ’09 in Las Vegas. Also living to the green mantra, the LCD aims at reducing the environmental impact by about 50%.

The display will be highly portable and with its ability to be hung to the ceiling as a wall hanging, it will save you a lot of space. The makers intend to make the LCD available by the end of the year, but you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to check this out at CES.
