ITU gives universal phone charger a positive approval
Bharat | Oct 24 2009

It had been in the air, and perhaps we here at GizmoWatch, tired of begging chargers from each other definitely were in look out to see it materialize. And now when a universal mobile phone charger has been given an approval by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), we find ourselves sighing in relief, as if we already have it in our hands, excitement you see.

Doing away with the brand specific chargers the new micro-USB chargers with a energy-efficient will be long lasting, given their trait to hook up with just about any phone, so you can use one charger for some time now, and yeah, your fellows around can also help themselves more with their chargers, which until you used more than they did, not my story… ha ha, could be you never know.

No manufacturer is forced to resort to the new chargers, but we learn that some of them have already entered into agreement with ITU. For environmental implications – these chargers are estimated to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 13.6m tones, which is result of the useless chargers being duped.
