Paul Otellini of Intel claims to have developed in its Chipzilla laboratories an answer to the $100 MIT hand crank PC.



The “Edu Wise Educational Notebook” will be distributed free development in the field of education, in case the need arises, though it’ll cost $400 and will be launched next year.



Here are some pictures published in IDG Now with Paul Otellini showcasing the above mentioned notebook. The Windows-powered mini-PC looks pretty cool with not that large screen. No word on the Operating System and other system stats yet.



I hope Nicholas Negroponte of the MIT project is not fazed by this bang after being larked by Bill Gates earlier.
