Inkjet nails in four minutes!
Chetan | Jul 12 2006

So you have a printer which prints high resolution designs on your fingernails in four minutes with 2000 different patterns and 16 million colors to choose from (excluding your original ones). Big Deal! Well, tell that to your female partner and see how she sells away your car before you can say Ooops!

ImagiNail is back with its latest printer: NailJet pro , which prints on more than one finger at a time, and can apply close-to-photo quality onto all ten nails in under four minutes. However, the basic technology is similar to its predecessor.

The NailJet printer includes a 15′ LCD display that you can use to choose from 1000’s of different designs and images using up to 16 million colours. You first paint your nails with a preparatory primer, then place you fingers on a pad inside the printer. The device has a camera that automatically senses the position of your nails, their size and their curvature. You select the pattern you want for each nail and the process starts with a click of the mouse.

Definitely Impressive! And why not? For $7000 you could buy a thousand different nail varnishes, hire some cheap labor from China to paint your nails every day and still be left with some loose change. But then again I am just a guy!
