Ideapad U8 from Lenovo with Intel's Atom processor

Lenovo’s Ideapad U8 is an appropriate and worthwhile application of the Atom processor from Intel. The talk is on to release this new UMPC that features some true Linux applications. This slim and compact device features a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with 12-key numeric pad. For an easy one hand use, it also is equipped with bullseye, an optical mouse. With hand-writing recognition capability, you can also take down note effortlessly. Even though it supports Linux OS, it has MS Office applications and supports web surfing over EDGE or 3G data and boasts of Live GPS. Ideapad U8 was unveiled in Shanghai at Intel’s IDF. Being an MID, it is a Linux device.
