HP planning to launch Tablet PCs with capacitive touchscreen

HP is planning to launch a new line up of tablet PCs that feature iPhone-like capacitive touchscreen. Though usual tablet PC is nothing new to the company but one with capacitive touchscreen truly shows how iPhone’s instant success had made companies think. HP’s already got few of the best (sales wise) touchscreen tablets in their line-up and I bet they’d love to add few more to that staggering catalogue.

It may sound easy for HP to win over the market but with Dell’s presence it won’t be that simple. Dell’s already got a capacitive touchscreen equipped tablet PC in the market and only few days ago it got a multi-touch functionality added to it. Even if tablets are not to be considered, Dell remains to be one of the main rivals to HP computers. Dell’s sales are already leading of that of HP and if HP fails to mesmerize it’s costumers with new line up then gap will keep getting bigger between HP and No.2 computer maker Dell.
