Catering companies that print hundreds of thousands of leaflets or direct mailings, the HP has engineered HP Edgeline, an ink-based printing technology. Claimed as four time faster then the previous printer, HP Edgeline’s print heads are motionless, that accounts for more accurate ink positioning and improved image. Unlike ordinary printer where the print heads move, in Edgeline the paper will move while the print heads remain fixed.

The technology has already been introduced but the formal introduction was arranged at a press conference in San Francisco by Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president of the HP Imaging and Printing Group.
