To set the real world simulated flying training on a new flight, L-3 Link has injected a whole new high-def experience into the F-16 flight simulator running on their SimuSphere, a 180° display. The Arlington-based developers have networked 120 Intel dual core PCs with the best graphics cards to project images on nine high-resolution projectors for best accuracy and crystal clear visibility. Based on the environment generator concept, the F-16 is tailored for the best real flying experience in all conditions with about 20-40 vision, which L-3 Link touts the simulator to possess, making it the most complex yet the most accurate flight simulator in the world.
